The John Deere S110 lawn tractor, launched in March 2022 at the John Deere plant in Greenville, Tennessee, is designed primarily for private homeowners who need a reliable and efficient machine to maintain a small lawn up to 1 acre. The S110 lawn tractor is powered by a single-cylinder, air-cooled Briggs & Stratton 33P877 (M33) gasoline engine rated at 19 hp (14.2 kW), 540 cc displacement, and a Tuff Torq TLT200 hydrostatic transmission made by Kanzaki Kokyukoki Mfg. Co., Ltd. with two-wheel drive. Capable of reaching speeds of up to 5.5 mph in forward travel and up to 3.2 mph in reverse.
The S110 lawn tractor is equipped with a 42-inch Edge cutting deck with side discharge, which is suitable for small lawns. The cutting deck is made of durable 13-gauge steel, 0.09-inch thick, and with two StarLock quick-release blades.
The John Deere S110 also features a comfortable, adjustable two-piece seat with a high and open backrest to keep the operator ventilated and cool. And there are two springs installed under the seat that provide comfort when driving off-road.
