John Deere demonstrates automation technologies for motor graders at Bauma 2022

At Bauma-2022, which was held in Munich, Germany, from October 24 to October 30, 22. The John Deere Construction division of John Deere Construction, a manufacturer of construction and highway equipment, showcased its automation technology for John Deere motor graders.
These are John Deere technologies – Premium Circle, Auto-Gain and Auto-Shift PLUS.

Several technologies that can be used in John Deere machines will be available for European customers. Fully programmable and flexible technologies such as Premium Circle and John Deere Grade Management for industrial and civil engineering.

“Our customers face many complex jobsite challenges every day, and by implementing features that make it easier to learn and reduce rework, operators can move on to the next job faster, increasing their bottom line,”

said Matt Godert, John Deere solutions marketing manager.

“Our ultimate goal is to provide customers with technology tools that help them improve operational efficiency, and our portfolio of automation features does just that.”

added Matt Godert.

Premium Circle is a fully sealed bearing and pinion designed specifically to minimize maintenance costs during operation and reduce downtime of construction equipment for repairs, it eliminates sleeves and couplings and the housing is sealed and stays tight during operation, which increases torque and rotation speed.

Customers in Europe can already benefit from two additional offers:

  1. the presetting of the machine
  2. automatic reinforcement for the John Deere crossfall system.

Thanks to the “Machine Presets”. , customers can program functions like automatically folding the blade or ripper, activating lights or beacons, engaging automatic shifting and more, all at the touch of a button. This will allow you to perform all operations at the same time, at the push of a button.

Auto-Gain technology automatically adjusts blade sensitivity while the motor grader is operating with Cross Slope. Which, depending on conditions, automatically adjusts blade and blade sensitivity. It makes life easier for operators by relieving them of the need for manual control and adjustment.

Auto-Shift PLUS – designed to simplify the operator’s work, reducing his fatigue, leaving only two pedals to brake and “open the throttle” – by analogy with the use of automatic transmission in civilian cars.
