John Deere, invests $55 million in Nuevo Leon

U.S. farm equipment maker Deere & Co. is investing $55 million in Nuevo Leon

“The investment will be to produce three models of mini loaders and nine models of mower-conditioners next year,”

the Nuevo Leon government said in a press release.

“U.S. farm equipment maker Deere & Co. will invest $55 million in one of its plants in Nuevo León, Mexico”

Governor Samuel Garcia said Friday.

The investment will be used to produce three models of mini loaders and nine models of mower-conditioners next year, the Nuevo León government said in a news release.

The new investments will create 400 jobs. Nuevo Leon currently employs 3,000 people at its three plants. It also has two plants in Saltillo, Coahuila (tractors and components).
