John Deere is launching a new digital signature service to simplify remote financing in Spain and Portugal.

John Deere is launching a digital signature service that allows ranchers, farmers and golf course managers to execute financing contracts remotely, that is, without having to physically visit a dealer. It also, in keeping with the company’s sustainability goals, helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions by reducing or even eliminating travel.

John Deere Financial, the machine manufacturer’s own finance division, expects to execute this project in partnership with DocuSign, a U.S. firm specializing in digital documentation services.

“The announcement of this new service represents a big step forward in our goal of advancing the digitization of our business as well as the agricultural and livestock sectors. From now on, our customers will be able to sign their financial contracts online, saving travel time and making everyday life easier for our dealers,” said Cristina Casado, marketing manager for John Deere Financial in Spain and Portugal.

The digital signature launch is part of the twentieth anniversary of John Deere Financial’s arrival in Spain. The division is already one of the world’s leading providers of financial services for agricultural and industrial machinery. Thanks to its experience and expertise in this sector, it can offer financial solutions tailored to the needs of professionals in this field in Spain.
