RDO Equipment Rutherford apprentice technician Kaylin-Rose Netrwal is a finalist for the Australian John Deere Parts Apprentice of the Year award.

Ms. Netrwal is one of four finalists to make it to the finals.

Luke Chandler, managing director of John Deere Australia and New Zealand, congratulated the finalists and said that parts professionals play an important role in agriculture, forestry and construction.

Despite having no previous experience in agriculture, Netrwal has always had a strong desire to work in the agricultural industry, and now she is on her way to a long and successful career.

During her training, she has gained a complete understanding of John Deere machinery, from large tractors to maneuverable mowers, to best help customers get the parts they need.

Ms. Netrwal said she enjoys solving problems in her role, as well as meeting great customers at the dealership.

She has earned a reputation for excellence, and many customers refer to her by name for her experience and skills in finding and securing parts.

The John Deere Technician Awards were established in 2021 to recognize the hard work and expertise that technicians provide to farmers in Australia and New Zealand.

In total, more than 100 nominations from across Australia and New Zealand were received for the awards, and finalists competed in six different categories.

Winners will be announced at a special gala event Aug. 5 in Brisbane.
